The Pilgrim Application cut-off for AE46 and AE47 is JANUARY 5, 2002.
From the AE Community Lay Director:

 "Oh the weather outside is __________" ...... Well, it's anything but cold and frightful.   It's for sure the temperature doesn't feel like Christmas, but the calendar says it is getting close!
 For Christians, this season is a celebration of hope and promise.  We celebrate the birth of a Child born in a manger and shadowed by the cross.  We can't forget that the cross is the real reason for the season and the resurrection is our gift of life eternal.  Remember as you buy presents that God expects us to give the gift of the gospel to a lost world.  Celebrate all year the joy that is ours and I pray that God will bless you and your family in the New Year.  Merry Christmas to all of you!

HEY DELORES !!!!       Who provides the refreshments when we go to gatherings?  Who keeps the nursery?
 Dear Friend,:  the host church provides a nursery for the first half (or business half) of the gathering.  Parents should pick up their children at snack time break.
   The host church generally provides some beverages and some snacks.....but all who attend should bring something to share at snack time.  Make something home-made or bring some chips and a drink......anything is appreciated.

CHRYSALIS SKI TRIP

How about a day of skiing or sliding down the mountain with your Christian friends?
We are tentatively planning a one-day ski trip to Massanutten in February 2002.  The cost will be approximately $60.00, which will include your bus ride and lift tickets.
If you would be interested, please contact Kathy Howard by January 16th.


BUTTERFLY BOOSTERS

Very often, our young people have a friend they would like to sponsor on a Chrysalis Flight, but the
Cost is too great for them to come up with on their own.  The Chrysalis Board would like to collect a list of names
of individuals who would be willing to contribute financially to help send youth on flights.  The youth sponsor will
be completely responsible for agape, letters and transportation.  Butterfly Boosters will be called by the board if the
the youth sponsor needs help with the sponsor’s fee.  Boosters can pay a whole fee or partial fees (every little bit helps).  
If you would like to be a Booster,  contact Carla Lamb to get your name on the list.  You will be called as a need arises.

Our Contract with the new 4H Center requires that we pay for our walks in full on the Thursday of that walk.  Therefore, ALL SPONSORSHIP FEES and ALL TEAM FEES must be paid in full one week before the walk begins.
