Looking Back At PCI #7

God continues to shower his blessings upon Pasquotank Correctional Institution and the residents that participated in Kairos #7.

Many men were blessed by the cookies and food but most especially the prayers.

Kairos #7 graduated 40 residents, 38 of those graduates returned to the instructional reunion held on the Saturday following the Kairos #7 weekend.

There are many stories of how men's lives have been changed by their experience at Kairos.   Many said they found love, acceptance, friendship and they finally realized that somebody cares. Many men also accepted Christ as their Savior and many men rededicated their lives to Christ.

Kairos #7 was a success because of the love of the Lord we serve and the love and prayers of the community.

PCI # 7 Rector

FROM: Barry’s Little “Brother”

Dear Kairos Members,

I want you all to know that I really enjoyed myself and the company of you all during Kairos #5.

I don’t have the stamps or money to write each of you individually, so I’m sending my love for you all in this one letter, and I’m Praying that the Lord will Bless each and everyone of you and all of your family members, and all of our brothers & sisters in Christ.

I would also like to thank all the kids for their love and concern for us behind these walls and fences.

May God Bless you all and may you all continue to Praise His Holy Name… Amen

            Your Brother in Christ
            Robert A. Leary

Letter from Richard W. Isom III - 0201666

For Kairos #5

#1
Well some men came to my prison
At First I felt kinda strange
I didn't know if I should trust or not
I know people play games
But then I head the voice of God
And He spoke with AGAPE Love
And it was the sweetest sound
Right out of Heaven above

Chorus
My word can penetrate those walls
And I have you, one and all
My words can break those metal chains
You can have Peace instead of pains
My word can melt thru that steel
If you won't spread the love
I got Kairos men who will

#2
Now I knew that was God
And I knew that was for me
He said, Don't you be afraid no more
Now that you can see
So now I tell the Gospel
Like it was told to me
I tell it to every man
That Jesus sends to me

#3
Well when the four days ended
I thought that I would die
I really do miss those men
Oh How I cried
I came back and went to my cell
But I felt so alive
I looked into my mirror
And saw Jesus in my EYES
I know He'll never leave me
So Now I'm letting my light shine.

Thank you Kairos Men and Women #5

God Bless you my real true brothers. I now join the Lord God Almighty's Army and Souls are being reached and saved in this prison. Thanks for doing your part men and women for obeying God and I now will do my part. It is my desire to see lost souls saved.

      Your Brother in Christ
