angel             AE & AC Community             angel

I would first like to humbly extend a special “Thank You” to the AE Board for its confidence in electing me as your 2007–2008 Community Lay Director. On behalf of the entire Emmaus and Chrysalis Community, I ask that everyone pray for each AE & AC Board Member in the coming year.

Seeing the glow in each Butterflies’ face at the AC #29 closing and hearing how God had touched each life through the weekend was a strong reminder for me that God is in control!

With that, I say “Welcome” to each new member to the Albemarle Community, and an added thanks for allowing the Team of AC #29 to bless each of your lives. Please remember all that was shared with you through your flight and be proud to share with others how God is working in your life. And also stay in touch with your new “Chrysalis” friends. We are all here to support you in both good and bad times! Thank You AC #29 Team for your Servant-hood.

In closing, I extend a special invitation to all members of the Emmaus & Chrysalis Communities to attend our monthly gatherings and other AE & AC events. Saturday night the Community was blessed with a wonderful Fourth Day Testimony of how God works in a life followed by Ricky Bishop’s powerful Communion Devotion! But it did not stop there, God kept the blessings coming with Sunday’s closing; the Butterflies’ sharing comments and Thomas Patrick’s Communion Devotion; listen for God and go save a life!

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for our annual Community Picnic August 25th — at Cale Retreat & Conference Center. We’ll be starting at 2PM and I hope to see each and every one of you there.

AC29 Lay Director Comments

Our Lord was up close and personal on AC-29! Though we were small in numbers we were huge in spirit. All 13 girls and 6 boys experienced the love of the Holy Spirit and said they had the time of their lives. What a joy our team had serving such special young ladies and gentlemen. God had many surprises for the caterpillars as well as the team, and we were all in total awe of His wonders. Please keep all our youth in your prayers as they begin a new school year in both high school and college. We thank the community for your prayers and your presence during the week-end.
